Purpose-Built Operational Intelligence Dashboards
Decision-focused views aggregating operational, financial, service, and infrastructure data with governed metrics.
The Challenge
Commercial dashboard products can connect to many sources but still leave users translating raw metrics into operational meaning. In unique environments, the necessary answer may depend on several systems, custom business rules, current exceptions, and the role of the person looking at the screen.
What We Engineered
- Cross-system data aggregation from databases, APIs, files, and monitoring systems
- KPI and exception calculation with freshness and threshold rules
- Real-time and scheduled refresh with governed caching policies
- Operational queues, aging views, maps, and trend reporting
- Thresholds, alerts, and escalation context
- Role-specific and customer-specific views with drill-down to source records
- Exports and scheduled summaries
Architecture & Ownership
Source adapters retrieve data from authoritative systems, a normalization layer calculates business metrics and exceptions, and role-specific interfaces present KPIs without creating another uncontrolled source of truth. Dashboards do not bypass source-system authorization — tenant and role filters are applied on the server, and data freshness is visible so stale information is not mistaken for current truth.
Outcome
Operators see actionable exceptions without manually assembling data. Managers gain a consistent definition of key status and performance measures. Technical and business information can be connected where the relationship matters, and focused views reduce time spent navigating several source systems for one decision.
