How to make decisions visible to a team

PURPOSE Visible decisions prevent confusion, repeated debates, and conflicting work. CAPTURE DECISIONS Record what was decided, who decided it, date, reason, and any follow-up actions. STORE CENTRALLY Put decisions where the team already looks for project or process information. COMMUNICATE Share decisions with affected people, especially those not in the meeting. BEST PRACTICE Distinguish final decisions from ideas, drafts, and open questions.
