How to record a screen capture of an issue

PURPOSE A short screen recording can show steps, timing, and behavior that are hard to explain in writing. BEFORE RECORDING Close unrelated windows, hide sensitive information, and disable notifications. WHAT TO RECORD Show the steps that lead to the issue and the result you see. KEEP IT SHORT Record only the relevant portion of the problem. BEST PRACTICE Review the recording before attaching it to make sure it does not expose private information.
