PURPOSE Knowing emergency exits before an incident helps you respond quickly. WHAT TO LOOK FOR Identify exit signs, stairwells, evacuation routes, assembly areas, and alternate exits. DO NOT BLOCK Keep exits, hallways, stairwells, and fire doors clear. IF AN EXIT IS BLOCKED Use an alternate route and report the blockage when safe. BEST PRACTICE Know at least two ways out of areas where you regularly work.
