How to use CC and BCC correctly
CC
Use CC for people who should be aware of the conversation but are not expected to act.
BCC
Use BCC when recipients should not see each other's addresses, such as large external announcements. Use it carefully; hidden recipients can create confusion if they reply.
TO FIELD
Use the To field for people responsible for action or response.
AVOID
Do not CC people as pressure, blame, or decoration. Do not reply-all unless everyone truly needs your response.
BEST PRACTICE
Name the owner of each action in the message body so recipients know who should respond.
