How to include error messages when asking for help

WHY IT MATTERS Exact error messages help support search logs, identify known issues, and route the request correctly. WHAT TO CAPTURE Copy the full error text when possible. If copying is not possible, take a readable screenshot. INCLUDE CONTEXT Add what you clicked before the error, the time it happened, whether it repeats, and whether anyone else sees it. DO NOT SHORTEN TOO MUCH Small differences in error messages can matter. Include codes, timestamps, request IDs, and file names. REMOVE SENSITIVE DATA Blur passwords, tokens, personal data, or confidential information before attaching screenshots.
