How to choose the right Freshdesk ticket type

PURPOSE How to select the correct ticket type, category, or form when submitting a request. GENERAL STEPS Open Freshdesk or the support portal in a supported browser, sign in with the correct account, and navigate to the ticket, request form, article, reply, attachment, or profile area related to the task. VERIFY RESULTS Confirm that the ticket, reply, attachment, search result, status, request type, escalation, or feedback appears as expected before closing the task. TROUBLESHOOTING If Freshdesk behaves unexpectedly, refresh the page, confirm you are signed in with the correct account, try another supported browser, and capture any error message or ticket number. BEST PRACTICE Include clear business impact, screenshots, error messages, and steps already tried. Support cannot fix what the ticket describes as 'thing broken' unless they also have psychic powers.
