How to troubleshoot basic audio issues before a meeting

PURPOSE Audio problems are easier to fix before the meeting starts. CHECK INPUT AND OUTPUT Confirm the correct microphone and speaker or headset are selected. TEST Use the meeting app's test call or device settings to confirm you can hear and be heard. COMMON FIXES Reconnect the headset, check mute buttons, adjust volume, close other apps using audio, and restart the meeting app if needed. BACKUP Know how to join by phone or switch devices if audio does not work.
