WHAT TO DO Do not click the warning, call the number, or download anything from it. SAFE RESPONSE Close the tab or browser. If necessary, disconnect from the page and restart the browser. REAL SECURITY ALERTS Legitimate security tools usually identify themselves clearly and do not ask for payment through random browser pop-ups. REPORT If you interacted with the warning, report it immediately.
