How to troubleshoot a phone that will not connect to Wi-Fi

PURPOSE Connection problems may come from the phone, Wi-Fi network, password, or signal strength. CHECK Make sure Wi-Fi is enabled, airplane mode is off, and the correct network password is being used. TRY Move closer to the access point, restart the phone, reconnect to the network, or restart Wi-Fi. TEST See whether other devices can connect to the same network. WHEN TO ASK FOR HELP Report the issue if multiple attempts fail or if only one network consistently fails.
